How do Events On Demand™ work for Attendees?

Events On Demand™ let you support Event organizers and creatives with no up-front cost. You can reserve a ticket for an Event On Demand™, and you won’t be charged for the price unless the Event reaches its Threshold. In this way, you can help event organizers create Events and ensure they receive equitable compensation. 

Reserving a ticket for an Event you’d love to attend is giving a vote of confidence to Event organizers and creatives. It lets them know you believe in what they’re doing, and you’ll be there as a supporter when they reach their Threshold. 

When do I pay for my ticket?

Here is the timeline for reserving and paying for your ticket:

1. When you reserve your ticket for an Event On Demand™, your card will be pre-authorized for the ticket price (no charge). 
2. If the Event reaches its Threshold or the Host confirms the Event, you’ll be charged for your ticket price. 
   
   

What if my Event doesn’t reach its Threshold? Will I get my money back?

1. You won’t be charged if your Event doesn’t reach its Threshold or the Event Organizer does not confirm it. 
2. When you reserve a ticket, we pre-authorize your card. You won’t be charged when you reserve a ticket. You will be charged if, and only if, your Event reaches at least 80% of its Threshold(s) when the Host can confirm the Event at their discretion.
