Gathr supports Google Tag Manager (GTM) and Google Analytics (GA) integration so you can track engagement and performance across your Film’s presence on the platform.
🎯 Google Analytics Tag Integration (Direct GA Tag)
If you are using Google Analytics directly (not via GTM), you can provide your Google Analytics tag (G-XXXXXXXXXX) directly into your Film Management dashboard, and we’ll handle the rest.
Navigate to your Film Management dashboard, and select the Marketing & Analytics tab in the Film Management menu. Input your GA Tag there.
We’ll implement your Google Analytics tag across all key pages where your Film is featured, including:
- Film details page (
gathr.com/films/[film-id]) - Film details page — Screenings page (
gathr.com/film/[film-id]/screenings) - Screening details page (
gathr.com/events/[event-id]) - Showtimes widget (embedded on partner or external sites)
- Rental details page (
/vod/[vod-id]/[vod-slug]) - Rental checkout page (
/vod/[vod-id]/checkout) - Rental watch page (
/vod/[vod-id]/watch) - Pay-It-Forward (PIF) donation page (
/payitforward/[id]/[pay-it-forward-slug]) - Rental unavailable due to geo-blocking page (
/vod/[vod-id]/checkout) - Event unavailable due to geo-blocking page (
/vod/[vod-id]/checkout)
This setup allows you to track user engagement, performance metrics, traffic sources, and more across your Film’s full presence on the GATHR platform.
🔍 Where to View Your Data:
All analytics data will be available directly in your Google Analytics dashboard, where you can view real-time activity, audience insights, acquisition channels, and create custom reports.
🧩 Google Tag Manager (GTM) Integration
If you prefer to manage multiple tracking tools from a single platform, GATHR supports Google Tag Manager.
Enter your GTM Container ID (e.g., GTM-XXXXXXX) in the designated field on your Film Management dashboard, and we’ll handle the rest.
Navigate to your Film Management dashboard, and select the Marketing & Analytics tab in the Film Management menu. Input your GTM Container ID there.
We’ll automatically insert your GTM container onto the following pages for your Film:
- Film details page (
gathr.com/films/[film-id]) - Film details page — Screenings page (
gathr.com/film/[film-id]/screenings) - Screening details page (
gathr.com/events/[event-id]) - Film Showtimes widget (embedded on partner or external sites)
- Rental details page (
/vod/[vod-id]/[vod-slug]) - Rental checkout page (
/vod/[vod-id]/checkout) - Event watch page (
gathr.com/events/[event-id]/watch) - Pay-It-Forward (PIF) details page (
/payitforward/[id]/[pay-it-forward-slug])
Any tags you've configured inside your GTM container—such as Google Analytics, Meta/Facebook Pixel, TikTok Pixel, or custom conversion tracking—will execute according to your setup. This gives you full control over how and when tags fire without needing to modify code.
📊 Where to View Your Data:
You can view and manage tracking activity through:
-
Your Google Tag Manager dashboard (for managing containers, triggers, and tags)
-
