# How do I update my profile/bio?
You can update the following fields in the **Profile** section of your Gathr account:
- **Profile Picture**: Upload a high-resolution image in PNG, JPG, or JPEG format. Simply click to choose a file and update your photo.
- **Display Name**: Modify your display name to reflect how you'd like it to appear on your profile.
- **Gathr URL**: Update your unique Gathr URL for your public-facing profile.
- **About Me**: Update your detailed personal bio. This section lets you describe your background, interests, and professional experiences in depth.
- **Short Bio**: Provide a brief introduction of yourself in this section (e.g., "I'm a filmmaker").
- **Category**: Select a category for your profile (e.g., Cinema, Filmmaker).
- **Tags**: Add relevant tags that describe your expertise and areas of focus, such as "Documentary," "Short," "Independent," "Arthouse," "Auteur," and "Feature."
- **Location**: Update your location to reflect where you are based (e.g., Sacramento, CA, US).
- **Add a Video**: Share a video link (e.g., from YouTube or Vimeo) to showcase your work or introduce yourself.
- **Add Links**: Include links to your social media, website, or any other relevant external resources.
By keeping these fields updated, you ensure that your Gathr profile is always current and accurately reflects your professional journey.
