Screenings Dashboard Guide

Learn how to navigate, manage, and optimize your Screening Requests & Bookings Dashboard to streamline Film bookings management.

🎬 Screening Dashboard

The Screening Dashboard is your all-in-one tool for managing theatrical, non-theatrical, and virtual screening requests. Whether you're overseeing a nationwide release or cultivating grassroots community momentum around your film(s), this dashboard puts everything you need in one organized, actionable place.

📋 Dashboard Columns

Each screening request is presented in a structured table view with the following key details:

  • Request Date: When the screening request was submitted.

  • Film Title: Indicates which of your Films has been requested/booked - only visible if you have more than one Film.
  • Event Date: The proposed or confirmed date of the Event.

  • Host Type: You can set different fees according to who is booking your Film.

    • What kind of host is making the request/booking?

      • Educational

      • Individual

      • Non-Profit

      • Business/For-Profit

      • Faith

      • Custom Fee Type

Set your Host type fees on your Film Management dashboard in the Film Fees section.

Choose from the following fee structures:

  • Fixed Fee: Set a flat rate that must be covered before publishing the event.
  • % Share of Ticket Sales (for paid Events): Earn a set percentage of net profits after Event expenses and service fees.
  • Per-Person Fee: Charge based on the number of attendees to a screening Event.
  • Minimum Guarantee: Ensure a baseline payment prior to the Event, covering costs via direct payment. Available for both % Share of Ticket Sales and Per-Person Fee

  • Screening Type: Indicates if the request is for a theatrical, non-theatrical, or virtual screening.

  • Host Name: Name of the individual making the request.

  • Organization: Affiliated venue or group.

  • Status: Displays the current state (New Request, Reply Needed, Awaiting Response, Confirmed, Tentatively Confirmed, Rejected, Expired, Settled, Unread Messages). Here is a breakdown of what each status means for you:

    • New Request - You have an unread request for a screening awaiting your review.
    • Reply Needed - This status indicates one of the following:
      • You have opened a new request, but have not yet responded.
      • You have viewed a new request and sent a custom offer, but the screening host has declined your offer.
    • Awaiting Response - You have sent a custom offer, but the screening host has not yet responded.
    • Confirmed - Your Film request/booking is confirmed.

To automatically confirm incoming requests, configure your Film Fees and enable Auto-Accept

When you have enabled screenings, added Film fees, and toggled on Auto-Accept, all incoming requests for that format (theatrical, non-theatrical, or virtual) and for the host's selected host type will be automatically confirmed.

Learn more about auto-accepting requests

When you enable theatrical screenings, Auto-Accept is automatically toggled on, and whenever you receive a request for a theatrical booking, it will be automatically tentatively confirmed, awaiting GreenLight® by the host.

    • Expired - This request has expired.
    • Settled - This Film booking is complete, and revenue totals have been calculated
    • Unread Messages - You have unread messages in your Inbox from this screening host (only for confirmed, expired, and settled Film bookings).
  • Ticketing Type: Indicates whether the screening is standard ticketing or an Events on Demand™/Theatrical on Demand® booking.
